The eduroam Terms of Use have been revised as follows and will take effect from March 1, 2025.
Key Revisions
- Article 4 (User Obligations): Clarified prohibition on sharing institutional account credentials
- Article 6 (Service Restrictions): Added criteria for temporary restrictions in cases of excessive bandwidth usage
- Article 8 (Personal Data Processing): Adjusted connection log retention period (90 days → 180 days)
Effective Date
Effective from March 1, 2025.
