Following the iOS 18 update, some devices have been found unable to connect to eduroam.
Symptoms
- eduroam authentication fails after updating to iOS 18
- Previously saved Wi-Fi profiles become deactivated
Steps to Fix
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap (i) next to eduroam → Forget This Network
- Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and remove the existing eduroam profile
- Reinstall the latest profile from cat.eduroam.org
- Reconnect to eduroam and verify authentication
