iOS 18 users: please reinstall eduroam profile

Following the iOS 18 update, some devices have been found unable to connect to eduroam.

Symptoms

  • eduroam authentication fails after updating to iOS 18
  • Previously saved Wi-Fi profiles become deactivated

Steps to Fix

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap (i) next to eduroam → Forget This Network
  2. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and remove the existing eduroam profile
  3. Reinstall the latest profile from cat.eduroam.org
  4. Reconnect to eduroam and verify authentication
